Do I need a prescription?


YES – If you are ordering a prescription drug, your order will need to be accompanied by a valid doctors prescription. Prescriptions can be faxed to us (toll-free) or uploaded during the order process.

NO - If you are ordering an OTC (over the counter) medication, no prescription is required.

A licensed pharmacist will evaluate and dispense your order as per international standards.

What is the cost of shipping?

Shipping at OPMeds is always FREE - there are no hidden charges or taxes. The price you see is the price you will pay.

What forms of payment does OPMeds accept?

When will my Order be delivered?

OPMeds ships via 1st class airmail and registered air mail. Delivery can be expected between 5 and 21 business days. The average delivery time is within 10 days.

Large orders may be shipped in multiple packages, and may arrive on different days.

Brand name medications and Generic medications will be shipped separately and may not arrive on the same day.

How do I place an order?

Why choose generics over brand name medications?

Simply put, generics are cheaper. Aside from being cheaper than branded medications, both of them are of the same indication,the same therapeutic use and of the same standard manufacturing process.

Generic drug manufacturers are not required to duplicate original medical studies proving the safety and efficiency of the chemical compound. Manufacturers can produce generic versions at much lower costs, thus passing on these savings to the customer.

Why is there a price difference between generic and branded medications?

Generics are less expensive because of the patent system. When new drugs are first introduced, they are patent-protected by certain governments for specific periods of time. During that time, other companies within those governments can't sell the drug. This allows the company that developed the drug to market it exclusively and secure a return on the investment which was spent on developing the original drug.

Once the patent expires, drug companies can apply to the Food and Drug Administration to sell generic versions of the drug. And because these generic manufacturers don’t have the same investment costs, they can often sell the drug for 50 percent to 80 percent less than the cost of the brand name.

Can you guarantee the quality of OPMeds generics?

YES. OPMeds generics are independently certified to be "bioequivalent / therapeutically equivalent" to their branded counterparts. This is done through a process called COA (Certificate of Analysis). Each batch manufactured for OPMeds receives a COA.

OPMeds generics have identical active chemical compounds when compared with their branded counterparts.

OPMeds generics may differ in color or shape from the branded drugs. This in no way relates to the effectiveness of the drug. The differences are present for manufacturing, commercial, patent or trademark reasons only.

What is the OPMeds cancellation policy?

You may cancel your order at any time before your order is shipped by contacting OPMeds Customer Service.

Once your order has shipped we cannot refund or cancel the order. However please do contact OPMeds Customer Service with any enquiries.

What is the OPMeds return / refund policy?

We cannot accept any returns on medication.
Non-Deliveries will be refunded or replaced.

FDA regulations in the USA allow for the importation of personal medication, limited to 3 months worth of any single product at a time.

What if a product I ordered is out of stock?
